Right or wrong?

As we know the role of becoming parents are tough, teaching their kids the 1001 things. It is practically so hard when they pop up a question, a question I think most people cannot even answer. Like for instance, when kids ask where do babies come from and other related questions. How do parents react? they get embarrassed and give very amusing answers.

It was last month when I was shopping with Justin and a friend, There was a lady with her young daughter. We were walking pass a shop, the shop happens to be a condom shop. I over heard their conversations in Mandarin

Mother: You can go to any shop but you cannot go to that particular shop
Kid: why is that?
Mother: ... because people will laugh at you
Kid: ohh......
Mother: Just don't go to that shop, it's a bad shop and a bad thing.

I was kind of surprise how adults are actually teaching their children, I don't know is it a good thing or a bad thing that lady just did. So if you happen to be in a situation like that lady, how would give a proper explanation or an answer to your kid?

it's indeed sad to know that people think that a condom store is a bad a place selling bad stuff.

don't pollute the mind of children with false informations.

Kid might grow up feeling guilty about his/her sexuality. Ho. Die. Repressed. Later rebel and run away have 10 shot-gun kids.

Nolah. I do however think that parents ought to give kids more credit than they currently do, give their a choice to make a sound judgement...

I always believe in educating young minds in a way that will make them understand the world better as kids have a very inquisitive mind and that explains the constant “whys” coming out of the mouth.

If it were me, I’d explain that the shop doesn’t sell toys and definitely not suitable for young kids to go inside. This answer of course will get another “why” and you can answer by saying, “God made it that way so when you see God one day, you can ask Him”

Ciao! (Never take me seriously. Seriously)
