Time to rise

It is very unusual to see me rant, don't mind me as I am going rant and bitch a little. You all know that living expenses increases rapidly in any city, the price of daily amenities was raised because of the price of crude oil. Ever since the in raise in petrol price, prices of other things have no choice but to follow raise. This has caused a decent cup of kopi o's price to go up, other things as well. Today you can no longer enjoy the decent RM2.00 Kolok mee, because of the raised in flour price. They decided to raise the price of Kolok mee to RM2.30, I know it's not so much but still " WHY THE FUCK DO YOU HAVE RAISE THE PRICE!?!?!?" So what else is going up besides our salary?

Here is something completely unrelated, it is about my PC. Recently my dad brought the PC for a cleanup from infection, the PC perform at the speed of snail. I was wondering what made the performance to drop, until one day i open it up and found that they changed my 512 ram to 128. I hate to say it but"WHAT FUCK DID YOU DO?!?!?!" My dad said that the technician claimed that my ram was busted, to me that is like taking a candy from a 5 year old kid. Computer ram do not get damaged that easily if you do not anything to it. So hurrah! my super sluggish computer and I am still able to blog (T_T)

Donuts anyone?

"mmm donuts" like what Homer Simpson will say, today my elder bro just came back from KL. He brought some goodies back, my mom was calling us the siblings over to the kitchen for some donuts. I was thinking what kind of special donut that cause the excitement to my mom, I found out that it was the donuts that I have been reading about. Got any idea? Mr Pop and Mr Sia wrote about it on their blog.

It is J.Co donuts, my bro bought 2 dozens of it. After reading so much about it and I don't even have to leave Miri to just try it, I snap a couple of shots before munching on it. The donuts are fantastic! I have not eat such wonderful donuts in a very long time. Next time if i drop by KL again i shall "tar pau" more J.cos back here. Thanks to me bro for bringing the donuts.

Sushi in Brunei

First of all, I would like to wish those celebrating this festival season " Selamat Hari Raya, have a great time and drive safe back to Kampung". Everyone has been talking about how good the sushi is in Brunei, from my colleagues to my friends, even the international students says it is good. If all that is true, I must try it for myself to satisfy my curious taste bud. Today my colleagues brought me to Kuala Belait(part of Brunei) , the sushi restaurant is called Escapade. You must be thinking that it is insane to drive all the way up to Brunei just to have sushi, when you have sushi restaurants back home. It is time to proof the worthiness of what the place has to offer.

It took us almost half an hour to reach there, we were the first to arrive and they even let us in before opening time. We booked the VIP cubicle, the restaurant is quite small. Instead of the typical sushi conveyor belt, they are using a model train to bring the sushi around the table. That is something very unique.

The price is very reasonable to Bruneians, it is also cheaper compared to Miri's sushi. It would be better if you are earning Brunei dollars but it is still very reasonable even after conversion. We ordered our food and I will let the photos do the talking.

What shall I say after putting everything in my stomach? It was Marvelous, delicious, luscious, heavenly, simply wonderful. Is it worth it to drive all the way up there? the answer is yes, is it worth to spend that kind of money? yes and it is very worth it and reasonable.
Unlike KFC you do not get what you see, here you get what you see. The tempura ice cream really surpirsed me, i thought it was going to be small but it was as big as my fist. If you have your passport, go get your peeps to go there.

Feel the rage!

Feeling enraged? Depressed? Then you are up for the almighty veteran of heavy metal music. Korn just recently released their latest album called “untitled” Jonathon Davis mentioned that the reason they did so, was so that the fans can call it what ever they wanted to. I have to give this veteran band a well deserve respect, with the departure of the guitarist and their drummer who is on a one year hiatus and still able to work on the new album.

Although I am not a big fan of Korn, I was just curious of what the tunes of this album would actually sound like. I got myself the cetak rompak version of the cd( I’m sorry!) after hearing the whole album, the tunes have completely change, it wasn’t heavy as it was previously. Instead, I believe that lead singer Davis has a plan of his own for this album, either they’re experimenting with new stuffs on the album like adding more melody and other sounds they can think of,

I personally think that the band can certainly come out with something better, something that can shake the metal rockers heads hard enough to knock themselves out and make them feel the vibe from the core. Good effort but it may not be very good for the Korn fans who has high expectation for the band.

A fair three out of five stars rating from me, when do you listen to it? Listen when you are feeling the rage of young Anakin skywalker(give yourself to the darkside!)

By the way, sorry for the lack of updates. I was feeling like a couch potato for the past few weeks, I'll be going to Brunei , Kuala Belait this weekend. Will update soon
