Vacation here I come

Finally the weekend that I have been anticipating for, I am going to Kuching tomorrow for my cousin's wedding. There are so many culinary delights that I really missed, since I left Kuching around September 2003. I am not a Kuchingite myself, but I completed my industrial training there for about 8 month

Since I have not step foot on Kuching for 2 years already, once I reach the city, I am going to eat the pandungan chicken rice, 3rd mile's GU bak mee(beef noodles), Ah ting's special kolok mee, open air market's sio bees(siew mais/dim sum), Tun Jugah's Hot plate kueh teow, Hartz chicken buffet, there are too many places that I want to dine at. See you guys in Kuching!

Happy birthday to me

I had a wonderful time celebrating my birthday this year and where else to celebrate my birthday? The Island and balcony. The moment i step in The Island, i already got bormbarded with two b-52s shots and beers. Next is balcony, Jason have a bottle of left over Jack Daniel's whiskey. The drinking session starts there, and this time i did not get wasted at all *woohoo* even with the pure Jack Daniels whiskey and a flaming b-52 coming at me, i did not get wasted was such a good thing. Everyone was happy and i'm happy too.

Potrait shot

I haven't got the time to do an actual portrait shoot, in a way I am lacked of proper equipment at the same time. A proper funding would be nice to get all the accessories I need, here are two shots from the portraits. I like the first photo's background color, a nice red color. Some lighting will be great for the photo shoot.

Love the second photo because ollie tried to take a photo of me taking a photo in balcony and Kynan's expression too.

Must get up!

I was happy that the administration approved my off day on last Saturday. I was looking forward to a great Saturday night out with a couple of booze and whiskey. My great escape came crumbling down, my stomach felt a little weird and bloated at the same time. I thought that it was a minor and common discomfort, *buzz* wrong! waking up the next day with a feeling of knocking myself out and the power of g-force refusing to let me get out of bed.

Do not consume if you feel like hugging the toilet.

I was grateful enough for not going out to ease my cravings for booze and if i have done so, i doubt that i would be fit to work on monday.Thank God for certified drugs and sick leave, after a sufficient amount of pills and I'm back on my feet again. Back to daily routine loaded with more shit, that just sucks! I just can't wait for my leave on next weekend and i will be out of here. Kuching here I come! There are so many places I want to drop by to soothe my taste buds in Kuching, any Kuchingites care to recommend a good place?

Farewell party

Yesterday my office threw a farewell party for two of our colleagues who are leaving us for a new job, sad that two good fellow colleagues had to go. The party was planned as a surprise farewell party for them, we all did a good job by securing the secret and gave them a real surpise. There's one thing that i like about my company, we always have lots of food when it comes to gatherings like these. Warning, food from photos are strictly unsuitable for people who are on diet.

Deep fried black grouper fish

It's time to whip something out from the kitchen, today's meal of the day is deep fried black grouper fish. Firstly you will need some pepper, sugar, Chinese wine, oyster sauce, light soy sauce, marmite, onions, garlics, olive oil and a black grouper fish(any size you desire).

The first thing you do, chop up the onions and garlic. Mix the pepper, sugar, Chinese wine, oyster sauce, light soy sauce, marmite and garlic together in a bowl. Watch the amount of the ingredients when you add them, if you do not wish to wear a toupee at the early age of 30.

Fry the fish in a wok with hot oil for about 10 to 15 minutes, when the fish turns golden brown it is ready. Then put some olive oil on the pan, wait for it to heat and add onions when it's heated up. Once the onions turn slightly golden brown, put in the mixture of the sauce. Stir the sauce until it thickens, once completed, pour the sauce over the fish and it's good to go.

Night Gown Competition

Balcony organized another competition for the ladies last friday, it's a night gown competition this time. I didn't see much perverted bastards appearing this time, which was good since they are nothing but nuisance to the people. I notice that some of the models didn't seem to be happy about joining the contest, they gave out negative non verbal messages like "i'm forced to join" or I hate this". Not to mention few of the gals didn't even want to do a proper post, can't even afford to smile as well.

Nina, the only caucasian in the competition got 2nd runner up, first place went to Irene(not Irene from Creative Bitchin)With good music and the peepz around, we all had a camwhore session at balcony.

Oriental Cuisine Patrol

I used to get fed up over Chinese food, how ridiculous can that be? Maybe it's because the eyes have seen enough of the food and i ended up going for the non oriental food. That was last time and since i am no longer working there, i am tantalizing my taste buds with oriental Cuisines. Gordon and i decided to drop by there for a spanking good dinner, at the same time to drop by there to say hi to a couple of my ex work mates.

Tonight's menu is Sze Chuan mince pork soup(not in photos), home made beancurd and Foo Chow style pork. I personally love beancurd myself and the home made beancurd from Dynasty Chinese restaurant, The texture and the flavor of the beancurd is at the right taste, one of the dishes i will defitnately recommend.

Next is the Foo Chow style pork, at our first glance of the pork it may looked like a piece of crap which just came out of the wok because of the black sauce masking it. Wrong again, after the waitress sliced up the pork, it showed how tender the meat is on the inside and juicy as well. It's new in the menu, it was definitely worth trying the dish. All just for RM49.86, the price is just moderate for a hotel's Chinese restaurant.

Planet Shakers

I attended a Christian youth concert last night at the indoor stadium, surprised with the action? Yes, I am a Christian or maybe I have been an undevoted one. Back to the topic, the concert was joint organized by a few churches, by bringing Planet Shakers the Christian band from Australia to Miri.

Usually when attending concerts or functions like this, you get someone coming to preach the word of wisdom to the people and the people will end up trying to hold their head up from the gravity force or trying to keep their eyes wide open like an owl. This one is differs from the typical preacher, the preacher's words was really simple and straight to the point. Which is good in a way, and it was all great.

P/S: sorry stephy! i couldn't make it tonight for the concert, but hopefully next time alright?
