Merdeka!

First of all a very Happy Merdeka from me, last night i attended the event at Balcony for the Merdeka count down. Balcony seems to have a fetish for inviting girls to do a sexy dance and as predicted they will always use the cheer-O-Matic to judge.

DJ Rych happen to be in Miri on a business trip, and it was his first time in Miri. It was an unofficial for the Xes forum members, the night was looking with 3 DJs in the house performing and there two unexpected DJs performing too.

The place was packed like always due to the limited space there, i felt like a helpless sardine fish ready to be squash alive. No thanks to our friends in blue uniforms who were on the patrol to summon illegal parking, which made everyone paranoid. If you did not consume any substance, why should you be afraid, right? i guess not everyone likes to be inspected like a substance consumer.

Therefore the night was such a turn off because of that, Puhyah didn't get to spin much which was another turn off. So the verdict about Merdeka night? POTONG STIM!! But thank God it rain so heavily that the Mat rumpits could not blast their pathetic bike's exhaust.

Bikini Model Search

Last Friday a bikini model search contest was held at Balcony, I was there to support my friend Mamoyo and taking photos as well. During events like these, you get to see people who hardly appears in clubs, those perverted bastards only appear during occasions like these. With those perverted bastards presence it was not a major pain in the ass, but with people deliberately blocking your view when you are about to take a picture was really ticking me off.

Me and Arth was seriously annoyed by a lady who did that, she have to stick both her arms out to take a picture of the model's face, wtf? you take photo of the model's face for what? This is not a cover girl photo shoot you idiot! And eventually her camera's battery life depleted which makes me and Arth happy. Not long after that another annoying couple who decided to block our view again, i just feel like using my shoe to shove it up his pathetic asshole. Despite those obstacles I still managed to take some photos.

There were two titles to be won that night, Best swim wear model and the "Chunest"(best) model. Before they announce the results for both titles, Balcony gave a challenge to the ladies out there. They dared the ladies to come up to the podium and do a sexy dance, winner will be granted a bottle of Smirnoff vodka. The way the judge this contest is none other than the cheer-O-Matic which i find pretty bias if someone brings the whole village to cheer for her, nevertheless our friend Renee won the Vodka many thanks for our cheering.

The results for the contest, Contestant no 2 Irene won the best swim wear model, and Mamoyo won the "Chunest" model, congrats to you! Sorry i couldn't vote for you, since it would cost me a crate of booze and a bottle of liquor just to vote. That's really an expensive vote!

Petrol Science Dino exhibit

Last Sunday me and Eric dropped by the pertoleum museum located at Canada Hill for the dinosaur exhibition, having a high expectation for it? not at all. Knowing a low budget exhibitions like these, you cannot really expect much out of it. However the robotic dinosaurs were quite impressive, and they're lacked of dinosaur bones replicas for display. The verdict? the exhibition was just ok only, and thank goodness the entry fees costed only RM5.00.

Since nothing much was displayed at the exhibition, we decided to fool around as perdicted.

Malaysia's Pride?

I am wondering should i be proud that our country manufactures cars or should i be ashame that our country manufactures tin cars, tin cars that doesn't meeet the international car safety requirement. Eric told me about BBC Top Gear's host Jeremy Clarkson made a review about the Perodua Kelisa, not exactly a review i would say. Do watch the video to see what i am trying to tell you guys.

I can't help it that the video was really funny, my favourite part of the video would be the blowing up of the car. No offense to the local care manufacutrer.

Care for a drink?

I was assigned by the company to take photos for an award nomination, I borrowed my colleague's Olympus SLR and most of the photos did not turned out the way i wanted. However there are two photos that i like, here are two more abstract pictures taken from from an Olympus SLR, by the way I am still a loyal Canon user :)

Kungfu!

Last Sunday the Wushu association of Miri organized a competition at my work place, I am simply amazed by the agility of the participants. I like to a picture of them doing the somersault, but no thanks to my company's lousy camera, the camera takes too long to for multiple shots and it takes too long for the flash to cool down. Lousy piece of crap! $%#@*!

ok ok, it's not that bad, the camera's flaw disables me to take multiple shots like other cams do, nothing is perfect right? somehow i still managed to take some shots of the participants moving in velocity, not really good shots by the way.

Those kids are simply amazing with their Wushu thing, one of them even incorporated hip hop in of his acts, how cool is that? and I personally like the last picture.

Luak Esplanade beach

Jane and i have finally convinced Eric to go Luak Esplanade beach, after hearing tons of excuses from him. At the same time, i decided to brush up my photography skills a little bit. I was disappointed about the weather yesterday, because it was hazey and it spoilt the sunset that i was expecting, It didn't stop me from taking photos though.

The Remake of Godzilla

When i saw the decoration for Merdeka at my work place, it reminded me of the movie Godzilla from the 80s, using some actor in a costume and destroying miniature buildings.

It reminded me something like this

Here is my remake of the destruction power of Godzilla

Cherry for you?

My Parents brought some cherries back from their KL trip, the cherries was good. It's not sour like some cherries that i ate, it's sweet not too sweet but just right, i was about to pick one cherry up to bite, i notice there was something wrong it. Notice anything wrong with the cherry?

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

The cherry has an extra limp! maybe the Malaysian weather has caused the cherry to mutate when it reaches here or the soils in overseas are so rich that the fruits eventually mutates. It is something that i do not see everyday, without any hesitation i took a photo of the mutated cherry.
